This guide assumes you're completely new to both platforms. We'll walk through EVERY click, EVERY field, EVERY button. Set aside 4-6 hours for complete setup.

CRITICAL: All 12 email accounts must have:

  • 2-Factor Authentication enabled
  • App Password generated
  • IMAP enabled
  • DNS records configured (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
Smartlead Step 1

Create Smartlead Account

Set up your Smartlead account and choose the right plan for unlimited email accounts.

Step 1.1: Sign Up
What You'll Do
  • Go to https://smartlead.ai
  • Click "Get Started Free" (top right corner)
  • Enter your email (use company email, NOT a sending email)
  • Create a password (minimum 8 characters)
  • Click "Create Account"

  • For NUDG3, you need: Pro Plan or Custom
  • Why? You need unlimited email account connections

⚠️ Important

Do NOT choose Free or Basic - you need 12 email accounts (6 for Luca, 6 for Godwin). Only Pro or Custom allows unlimited accounts.

  • Be on the Pro or Custom plan
  • See the main Smartlead dashboard

Connect Your 12 Email Accounts

This is the MOST CRITICAL step. Follow exactly to avoid spam folder.

⚠️ Before Adding to Smartlead

MUST DO FIRST for EACH email account:

  • Enable 2-Factor Authentication in Google
  • Generate App Password (16-character code)
  • Enable IMAP in Gmail settings
  • Save the App Password somewhere safe

Do this for all 12 accounts BEFORE proceeding.

Step 2.1: Navigate to Email Accounts

  • Look at the LEFT sidebar (dark gray/black area)
  • Find "Email Accounts" with a mail icon
  • Click it - the main area (right side) will change

Step-by-Step Entry
  • Click in each field and type/paste the exact values
  • For App Password: Copy from where you saved it, paste with spaces removed
  • After filling all fields, click "Test Connection"
  • Wait 5-10 seconds for green checkmark ✓
  • If it fails: double-check App Password (most common issue)
✓ What Success Looks Like

After clicking "Test Connection", you'll see:

✓ Connection Successful! Your email account is connected and ready to send. Save & Continue

Click "Save & Continue" and the modal will close.

⚠️ Repeat for All 12 Accounts

You must add ALL 12 email accounts (6 for Luca, 6 for Godwin) using this exact process. Takes about 15-20 minutes total.

Create Your First Campaign

Build "Agency Cold (Luca - US/UK)" campaign step-by-step.

Fill Out The Form
  • Campaign Name: Type "Agency Cold (Luca - US/UK)"
  • Campaign Objective: Select "Lead Generation" from dropdown
  • Upload Leads: Click the upload area, select your CSV file
  • After file uploads, you'll see file name and size
  • Click "Save & Next" button
CSV File Requirements
Your CSV must have these columns:
- first_name
- last_name
- email
- company
- title (optional)
- location (optional)
